Well it's about time that I put pictures up of our little vacation to NYC!!! We left on Saturday after we took the dog to " Day Camp" which is what Adam and I like to call it, but to them it's really doggie JAIL!!! We dropped them off then headed to Trenton. We caught the train to Penn Station then we headed off to Laura's house! When we got there it was only hours before the show so we went and got a snack at a place called Milk and Cookies, it was AMAZING! You could make your own dough, kinda like Marble Slab for cookies, it was GREAT. Then we headed off to the show.
We saw In the Heights, it won the 2008 Tony for best show, it was really good, it was about people in the Washington Heights part of the city. It's kinda like Spanish Harlem, it was REALLY a great show. After the show we had reservations at Craft, Tom Caliciao's( Top Chef) restaurant. It was amazing food, everything was served family style, where we got probably one of every appetizer and pretty much everything on the menu, including 2 bottles of wine!:) It was good food and good times. After the dinner we went to Adams' parents hotel Bar area, and Laura, Adam and I got beers.
Sunday morning, we had reservations for a champagne brunch cruise around Manhattan, it was a beautiful morning, and the sail was great, good wind but not to much. Of all the times we're been to NYC, we finally got around to seeing the Statue of Liberty, and following the cruise, we went to see ground zero, because Laura's office building is right next door. Not much has happened on that sight in almost 7 years, it was kinda sad, but they have started so that's good. Overall the trip was a great get away before school starts for Adam:) We hope to make it back up to the city soon, because Laura knows of a store that sells nothing but peanut butter products!!! YES! Here are some pictures..
Us on the sailing cruise, it was a little windy, my hair really isn't that big!:)
View of the skyline from the sail boat.
On the boat again! ( Poor angle for a picture!)

About time...
Well I haven't been very up to date on this thing... Lets see, not a whole lot has happened, Adam and I went home on August 12 to spend some much needed time with our friends and family. WE did some shopping for my mom, and Adam FINALLY got to play a round of golf, even though it was almost rained out!!! We finally got to see little Carson Landino, he was the most adorable little baby boy I have ever seen:) And so well behaved at that. We did have to board the dogs for the 5 nights that we were gone and we were pleased to hear when we picked them up, that everyone loved having them there!!! Which is good, because we are going to New York City on Saturday for a few nights and they have to go back! Adam and I are meeting up with Laura, his sister, and his parents up there for a fun filled few days. We plan to go see a broadway show, In the Heights, or something like that, then we are doing a Sunday Brunch cruise around Manhatten,I will make sure to take lots of pics.
Adam and I have also been religiously watching the Olympics, savoring the last few weeks before Adam has to go back to class. I will try to keep things more updated!!! PIctures of NYC will follow next week hopefully!
