not inches, not feet, but MILES. Do you know how FAR that is? Pretty freaking far. Somehow I was coaxed into signing up for my very first half marathon. Now, I had this goal, but I figured I wouldn't ever complete it, or I would a few years and babies after now. But noooo, I went to dinner with a friend of mine at Cheesecake factory, and some how I left signed up to run with her in the Dallas Rock and Roll Half Marathon. Here is the kicker folks, it's in less than TEN weeks. I haven't run since Thanksgiving. Well I went on a run a few days ago, and my legs still hurt. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need some walk breaks. TWO + HOURS of running? Yeah Right!

Wow! I am proud of you because I don't think I could ever conquer that! You'll have to provide a full update!
Holy moly! Good for you! I got your post about the shoes and you are totally right. I do need to get fitted. I think that the right shoes could probably help prevent injuries so maybe I'll go check that out soon. Plus, I've been having some serious ankle pain (like, literally couldn't walk on it last night) so I need to do anything that will help.
