{The Reveal}

Alright, I know it's not completely done, but I'm tired of waiting, we need to move the recliner into our room, so here is Graham's humble abode. It is VERY different from Dylan's. Dylan's is much more of a kids room. With Graham, I wanted to do a more modern feel. I knew I wanted to do gray walls, so after selecting 9 different grays to slap on the wall, I finally found the "perfect" gray. I also can't help myself with stripes for some reason. Maybe it's because I didn't have to paint them myself this time, who knows.

This room was a little bit of a challenge for me because I had to find a color scheme to work with that involved a red recliner. When I purchased it for Dylan, I didn't really think about having to use it in another room. Because it was so expensive, though great, we decided to move it to Grahams room and purchase a cheaper, not as comfy or convenient, chair for Dylan's room.

I still need to work on the bookcase. It's hard, because whatever is up there, Dylan can pull off, which is why the bottom two shelves are lacking a little in "decor"

I am usually completely anti- monogram. I think that people go over board with them, but with this room, I wanted something different, so I had a piggy bank made, as well as put a G on his bedding. The coo coo clock was my moms. That was the one thing she requested from Adam and I's trip to Germany. It was brown, so a little spray paint, and it works in the room.

This time I went with custom bedding. I know Graham will not care at all, so I picked a damask, a little girly yes, but I LOVE IT!

The art work is 100% done by Big brother to be. All I did was paint the background and let him have at it. The middle one, he had brushes in his hands. The outside ones, I took the brushes away, so they look a little different. I'm super happy with the way they came out, and I also learned that buying canvas' and letting him paint is a really good way to kill time during the day!

Love his name.

Adam the handy man's work. He had to hard wire this lamp into the ceiling, but hey, I originally wanted to put hardwood floors in, so he really lucked out.

I totally had to move Dylan's changing pad in for the pictures. We are going to see if we can get away without having to buy another one, so really the only thing on this is the lamp! Graham won't actually be living in here for a few more weeks anyway!

So there you have it folks, Graham's room. I'm sure I'm forgetting pictures of something that y'all want to see, so if so, feel free to email me and let me know! It's a far cry from Dylan's nursery yes?

If you don't mind me asking, do you remember what the paint color was that you used on the walls? We are going with a gray as well and I'm having difficulty finding the right one. Thanks!
