Half Year

HOLY CROW... My baby boy is a half a year old, six months, oh Lord, where has the time gone? It was such a FAST month, and I'm pretty sure that next week he will be getting married, if time keeps going like it is. Everyday is a new adventure with him now, as he is learning so much. It's fascinating to watch him learn. He'll look at something then figure out what to do with it. AMAZING I tell you. He is still the most handsome baby there ever was also! So what has he been up to this month?

6 Month Stats:
14 pounds 7 ounces ( 10th percentile)
26 inches long ( 50th percentile) I wonder who's body style he is going to have??
Still in size 2 diapers
Wearing 3-6 month clothes, though some 0-3 still fit him. Like his " Month" picture white one!.

He has had lots of foods, green beans,yellow squash, sweet potato, carrots, peaches, apples, pear, avocado, I think that's it. He likes all of them. LOVES veggies, we'll see if he still likes them in a few months!

Sleeping pretty well, though his wake up time has gotten to be about 8, which is really early for us!:)
You take probably about 2 naps a day. Some that are about 3.5 hours long!
you eat 4, 6 oz bottles, and eat 2 oz of food at night.

SCREAMING... it's his new favorite thing. HE will be screaming at the top of his lungs, I look over and he smiles. He figured out that it was him making that noise, now he loves it. ( I have a video, but Adam's computer has a virus so I can't load it!)
" BOBOBOBOBOBO" that's his new talking sound. Adam and I are pretty sure he said "hamburger" at the pedi office today!
He loves to laugh. He laughs when we give him kisses on the neck, when he is naked before a bath, doing the baby clock dance, and bouncing. It's infectious I tell you!

He is a joy to have around, thought this month is going to bring a HUGE milestone for mommy and daddy. We are going to be leaving him over night. We are going to a wedding of some college friends in New Mexico, and will be leaving baby behind. It's only 1 night, but two full days. I'm pretty sure that it's going to be so much harder for ME than him. He will be in good hands with my sister, and her girlfriend, as well as a little time with grandma and grandpa!
